Android Pay is powered by NFC. Any terminal equipped with the NFC hardware is capable of transacting digital wallet transactions. Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, and many others based on android technology offer smart-phone users the ability to use their phone to make payments.
Android Pay is an equivalent of Apple Pay.
Note: VX520 and other series of VX can take Android Pay. Athough this page focuses on 1ntegrity.biz WorldPay customers, this information applies equally to customers on other processing platforms. Example: FD-40 pin pads and FD-130 terminals have NFC capability and the procedure is much the same for taking Android Pay.
HOW TO TAKE A APPLE PAY PAYMENT ON VX SERIES
- Press Sale
- Enter Amount
- Confirm Amount
- Green light comes on above screen (if pin pad attached, functions are same)
- Have customer dip their phone near top of machine.
- Authorization/Approval completes
- Receipt finishes printing
- Transaction Complete.
